Why We Built This Site
Oregon divides record custody by event and agency. The Linn County Sheriff's Office maintains its reports and jail records. Linn County Circuit Court keeps filed charges, docket entries, judgments, and copies. Oregon State Police CJIS operates the central criminal-history repository, while the Oregon Department of Corrections and Oregon Sex Offender Registry serve different purposes. This resource brings the verified access routes, fees, request steps, and office contacts into one organized reference.

Only the record custodian, such as the sheriff, court, or Oregon State Police CJIS, can issue an official copy. The document must come directly from that office.
